X-Ray:

A full range of radiological examinations are provided. Consultants and GPs can refer patients directly to the department.

The sophisticated facilities include the latest standard X-ray equipment, with dental radiology just one of the specialities. This is ultrasound equipment for abdominal, pelvic, echo, testicular, prostatic, thyroid and breast examinations.

A mobile X-ray is used throughout the Hospital. Results are available within 24 hours of examination.

The department is under the clinical direction of Consultant Radiologists, and is staffed by qualified and experienced Radiographers. It is open during the week, and over the weekend as required and by arrangement.
